Psalm 145:14 The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
Have you ever felt like a failure? When you do fail, do you feel like there's no recovering from it? The road you've traveled hasn't been easy, but you're still here. The only reason you're still here today is because God was walking the road with you every step of the way. Your failure may be a blessing in the long run... It's definitely a lesson and never a life sentence! Your test is yours and no one can take it and pass it for you, but you.
Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.
If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer. It might not change overnight. The pain of falling may still be there, but with God, you can focus on the lesson and you will continue to grow. Don't let someone bring up the past to you. The past is the past! Don't be afraid to start over again. Having a relationship with God means you're not starting over from scratch, you're starting again with experience and His wisdom! No sin is too great, no heart is too broken for God to redeem and restore! There's great comfort in knowing God will fight for you even when you can't stand on your own. Time is too precious! Don't waste it by not knowing him or having a relationship with him. He will stand by you and he will never give up searching for you!
