Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
How often have you worried about something that has happened in your past? Have you let it consume your thoughts and let it ruin what's going on with you right now? How often have you stressed about something coming up soon? Bills, job, family event, etc? When we lose focus on God or we don't have him in our life, we let everything destroy us in our hearts and minds. We can't predict the future... Even if it's tomorrow, all we can do is pray, trust, and put all our hope in God. God already knows what's going to happen. We can't try to make it our own and do it our way if we want to be truly successful.
John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, "because you have seen me, you have believed; Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
When your eyes and your heart are fixed on God, you don't focus on the storm. At any moment God can shift you from waiting on it to walking in it! We all have a past, but remember... You don't live there any more! God is going to allow you to go through trials, but no matter how hard that trial may be.... He is there with us the entire time to be our strength so that we make it through triumphant, for His glory!
