My Path

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

When you are running after God and you accept him into your life as your savior, it's not going to be just a walk in the park. It won't be easy. It's going to be like a cross country race. It will have twists, turns, hurdles, and blind corners all the way through the race. It's all on you and how you run your own race. God has a path for all of us and it will be different for each one of us.

James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

While running our race and following our own path that God has set for us, we will come to many trails that will try to lead us in the wrong direction away from the Lord. We will hide from what the Lord is telling us or showing us because we're scared to try something new that we've never done before. If you pray on it and seek his guidance, he will show you the way. He's not going to give you something you can't handle with his help.

Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

There will always be someone or something that will try to stop you and point you in the wrong direction. This may be a death of someone close to you. It may be someone you considered a great friend or a situation you are put into. You will have to make some tough choices about your life or someone in your life to stay on your path that the Lord has you on. You will have to pray and ask him what's best for you. If you are seeking him and running after him, he will give you the answer.... whether you like the answer or not.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Seek God in all that you do. Don't try to make all your decisions without first praying and asking God first. He will not steer you in the wrong direction. He will not give up on you, so don't give up on him! He will always be there for you, no matter what! Keep your faith, continue to chase after the Lord, and don't quit! He set you on your path for a reason and he will be by your side the whole way if you will let him. Let God write your story.... not you!

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
