Father

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

When we accept Christ in our lives, our life changes. By asking the father to come into our lives, we are wanting change and an intimate relationship with him. Things are going to be different and the trials will start. You have to pray and read the word to learn and build that relationship with God. Run after him with your whole heart and your life will change. Learn how to close your mouth and open your ears to listen to him and what he wants to tell you.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.

When you accept him into your life, you have to make the changes. Live the life that is going to make daddy proud of you and remember.... at times, you will fail, but don't give up! We can't give up when something doesn't go our way or if we're not hearing him the way we think we should. During our trials we will have tough losses or maybe even un-answered prayers. Father knows what we need and knows what we can handle. We won't understand all these things, but he has a reason for everything.

Matthew 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased".

We are all going to fail and mess up, lose our focus on him, run from him, and question him at times. When we give ourselves to him and accept him into our lives, he is there forever with us. God is good and forgiving!! When we do this, he has already forgiven us.

Romans 8:15 The spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ABBA, FATHER.

The amazing thing about accepting Christ into our lives is that we will never be alone again. He will be there no matter what we're going through. Just pray and ask him what to do. He will give you the answer, whether you like it or not. Don't give up because he won't give up on you.

Revelation 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Pray and give him thanks every day. He is the almighty that protects us and gives us strength. Praise him and worship him and him alone. Continue to draw near to him and chase after him for he is our father, our savior, and our one and only God!

John 10:30 I and the father are one.
