By My Side

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

We all feel alone and lost at some point in our lives. How do you deal with it? Have you been lonely, sad, depressed, felt hated, or felt you had no one to go to? We all try to fix or beat those feelings by ourselves at some point in our lives. It always seems to be a long, hard road to get rid of those feelings. It's like climbing a huge pile of loose dirt. Every step you take and every time you reach out to get to the top, you just keep pushing the dirt down and don't move very far at all... At that rate, it will take forever to get to the top...

1 Samuel 12:22 For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

When we have God in our lives, we can always go to him for help and guidance. So now, with him, you will never be alone. All you need to do is talk to him and pray to him. He's always listening. He loves you and wants that personal relationship with you. You just need to seek it out.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Now that you have God in your life and you trust in going to him with your problems, you will be amazed how much easier it will be to get through these hard times. So, if you feel alone, he's there. You fell sad, he's there. You feel hated, he's your friend and he loves you. You will always have him there to help you out of any problem you have. All you need to do is ask. When you pray and ask him for help, now it's like climbing that same dirt hill, but now you have someone with a rope pulling you up! He is our guide, our savior, our father if we ask him into our lives and go to him instead of trying to fix it any other way!

Joshua 1:5 As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Isaiah 41;10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
